PEF is looking for members to help lobby during the month of March.

The idea is to have different teams of members visit key legislators every Friday in March
(3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30) to discuss budget issues and Tier 6.

PEF will schedule the teams and provide training and talking points for the lobby visits.

The more people that volunteer the greater the statement we will make to these important legislators.

Ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they are organized and mobilized!

The Flex Spending Account open enrollment period ends November 14th.

The Flex Spending Account (FSA) is a program PEF and the state negotiated to help members save money on their taxes. The FSA has two benefits--the Health Care Spending Account (HCSAccount) and the Dependent Care Advantage Account (DCAAccount)--that help you pay for health care or dependent care with pre-tax dollars. Even if you enrolled last year you must enroll again this year.

The PEF Executive Board has voted to send the tentative contract to the membership for ratification. PEF is holding the following meetings in the following areas to provide details and answer your questions about the proposed contract.
